I was in great pain with a torn tendon which in turn damaged my rotator cuff. Mr Ricketts operated on this in June and four months down the line I am back to normal which is brilliant. I must say, that straight after the operation and over the first couple of months you are very limited and the pain was bad however I am now back to doing every day things pain free. Mr Ricketts said their was a great deal of damage so I am extremely grateful to him for the incredible work he has done. I would also like to thank the aftercare team for all the help given to me during my stay.

After my accident in 2018 I was very fortunate to be treated by Mr. Ricketts. The injury to my shoulder and arm was severe and I am in no doubt that without the surgery carried out by Mr. Ricketts I would not have the mobility I do today. He had such a positive attitude from the beginning and engendered confidence in me that really helped a lot in those early weeks and months of my recovery. Mr. Ricketts has a friendly manner and warm sense of humour, is a consultant so obviously at the top of his field, and I can't thank him enough for his skill and his care.
